I work as both a journalist and a custom content creator specializing in travel and lifestyle, including interior design.
My articles have been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune.com, Newsweek.com, Fodor's, the Robb Report and Yahoo. I am the former staff travel writer at Forbes.com and held full-time positions at Town & Country, George (launched by JFK Jr.) and Rough Guides. I'm a graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
Branded content clients include American Express Travel & Lifestyle Services; Hilton's newest luxury brand, LXR Hotels & Resorts; DCG ONE; Elsewhere Travel; TCS World Travel; Andrew Harper's The Hideaway Report; the Mexico Tourism Board and HomeAway/VRBO.
While living in London, I was the head of content for the luxury bespoke travel company Black Tomato, described as "the coolest travel company in the world" by GQ.
I enjoy working with companies to increase brand awareness, engage customers in a compelling way and implement SEO. Above all, I strive for content that is sincere and written in an authentic tone.
I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries and 35 states, and have been around the world in 80 days, roughly following the route of the Jules Verne book. I’ve cycled and sipped my way through Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand, explored Utah’s hot springs and hidden gems, and visited Palm Springs most iconic sights.
Please don't ask about my favorite destination because that's like having to choose a favorite child but if I had to pick, I'd say the Seychelles, Thailand, New Zealand and Italy. Favorite hotels? I love a tiny, independent boutique hotel with a big personality as much as the heavy-hitters like Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos, Claridge’s in London, and Skibo Castle in Scotland.
I live in the New York City area with my family and enjoy traveling to far-flung destinations as well as areas closer to home. In my free time I hop on my Peloton, practice yoga, ski and daydream about my next trip.
